I have found that Roblox has a command-line interface and that allows me to launch the game, albeit as a guest. Roblox Studio also is logged in and works fine, as well as the URI scheme being noticed (shown by Safari and Firefox recognizing what program needs to be opened). The only sign of error is when switching accounts, in which it complains about permissions or something similar. I tried numerous reinstalls, updates, different accounts, everything. There was no instigating event, just a normal update that apparently bricked Roblox. Since around May of 2018 I have not been able to use Roblox on macOS Sierra.
